I found a new series!!! 💜💜💜 It‘s graphic and twisted.
5⭐️ LOVED this book!! I can‘t wait to read more in this series. After my self imposed book buying ban that is 😭🤯. I need to focus on the 688+ physical (& 1800+ digital Kobo) books I already own. It‘s sad that I need to go on a buying ban, but mentally, financially & square footage space wise it‘s well overdue. I believe that it‘s become a serious problem & I need to responsibly deal with it. 📚💖
Rather cheesy and cliched at times, but as the first book in the series, it is understandable. Indications are later books are much better.
Hunter is a typical male fantasy figure: supremely intelligent, good in a fight, attractive to everyone everywhere, etc. I‘ll see if the next one improves. Rating: 3 ⭐️
The tagged book was a Chapters $6 find 😱 & the other is a library hold that I just picked up today as well!! Yay books!! 💖📚🎶🎃👻. I‘m hosting my own Readathon today through Sunday @ Midnight for anyone wanting an excuse to read lol 😂😏📚
Last one for now.. I'll be back later.. 😂
I really enjoyed this.. 5/5.. The characters were great and I was gripped from the start.. 😊
This book was such a letdown. It had so much potential but Carters writing was lecture-like and far from poetic. A lot of the time I felt he talked down to his readers; over explaining things. The dialogue, particularly between Hunter and Garcia was very contrived and awkward at times. Nothing flowed or seemed realistic or natural. It was clear that this was a debut novel.#whodunnituk
5 stars??? I need more than 5 stars for this book. This book which is the first in the Robert Hunter series by Chris Carter is a phenomenal, edge of your seat, nail biting joyride of pure evil and is what a crime story is supposed to be all about. Here's to reading the others in the series!
