Almost didn‘t meet last week‘s goals but family was in town so I‘m giving myself some slack. Reviews of last week to come, and hopefully good posts for this week!

I‘m hoping to finish The Children of Blood and Bone by Tuesday and All the Ugly and Wonderful Things by Wednesday, read the next story in Sherlock, and start A Ladder to the Sky and The Last Time I Lied before the week is over. Big ambitions but let‘s see how it goes! 😊
My goal is to read a story a week. So I‘m going to attempt to review each story in a blurb and then review the collection as a whole when finished.
A Study In Scarlet: As someone who is fascinated with Sherlock as a character, I quite enjoyed the first part of the story. However, the beginning of the second part felt unnecessary and drug on. Does anyone understand why it was included when it was then paraphrased at the end?
Lazy day for me and Henry (Tuesday‘s are my Sunday‘s). While he takes a nap, I‘m going to try to sneak in another chapter or two of reading.

Had two of my wisdom teeth removed today. That means I get to spend my weekend resting, reading, and having lots of icecream! Anything for a speedy recovery 😋

pickReading buddy number two helped me finish this up today! I‘m slightly sad it‘s over, but luckily there are so many stories that I could start over down the road, not remember any of the resolutions and be surprised all over again! Holmes and Watson are two of my most favorite literary characters and I thoroughly enjoyed this collection. #Lennox #catsoflitsy

*BOOK SERIES- Sherlock Holmes was my favorite when I was younger, but I don't really follow series much lately.
*MOVIE- Coraline (I actually like the movie better!!)
*Dessert- Creme Brûlée forever and always ?. *Color- lavender, green, and blue.
*Flower- Calla lily (the nose huggers)
My summer to-read list, which I will definitely not finish. My goal is to get through at least 15 of them. They're in baskets because I have negative bookshelf space in this tiny-ass apartment.
