I feel like I say this all the time but oh my gosh the narration is great! I just got done with the scene when George/Jake does the lindy hop dance with his coworker at the dance. So well written and performed that I was grinning like an idiot while I was driving and listening this morning! Such a fun little excerpt!
pick'Twas an excellent textbook. Only a few chapters were less than ideally thorough.
so-soI feel like I started at the wrong part of this series. I never felt fully pulled in to the world and I ended up remaining an arm's distance from it all. This might be because of where I started but I definitely felt like I was missing vital lore and background information. Maybe starting somewhere else would have prevented that.

I'm WAY ahead of the game this year. I usually get in between 28 and 35 books a year including textbooks. School keeps me busy and I'm not an especially fast reader. 🤷♀️ So I was worried about hitting my annual challenge goal this year and I'm honestly a bit impressed with myself. I have always added 2 books to my challenge each year. I may have to add 10 to next year!!
"We'll treat this like a clinic problem. I'll let you work on it for a bit before I go over it." Which translates to...Imma read but you guys do you. I'm too tired for this today.

After rereading two of my favorites, I've confirmed the Goodreads reading challenge is accepting rereads as part of the count!! So I have no qualms over re-listening to The Mistborn Trilogy during my 2 hour break between class and work while coloring and sipping on coffee. It's been a hard morning of work, I assure you 😉 #adulting
My vacation is over and I'm back at school and work...except school...I slept right through my 8AM class this morning. I'm so disappointed in myself! At least it was only the syllabus overview and the first half of champter one... I can manage that part myself. Thankfully, I work on campus in my department and have a lot of downtime to study! 📚👩🔬
My favorite thing about our car is that I can play stuff through the radio off of my phone. It makes driving so much more calm when I'm listening to a book. Thank the stars for Audible!
Already done with Fear Nothing and on to the sequel, Seize the Night. These are two of my all time favorite books! I'm so glad Goodreads counts rereads in the reading challenge now!

I feel like the only reason I'm going to finish this book is because I'm almost done with it. It started off interesting but I've been getting more and more disenfranchised as I go. It's gotten to the point where I haven't made progress in weeks and am trying to convince myself to read it. Unless there's a big surprise in the last 100 pages, I think this'll be a pass for me. 🤷♀️
By The Light Of The Moon was the last book that I read where I DESPISED the characters and what they do this much. But... I ended up loving them just before the second half started and things got whacky! However...I'm over halfway done with Prey and I'm just getting fussy about everything. People are dumb. Lesson learned. Ready to be done with this one. Unimpressed.

I'm reading for the first time in WEEKS! The semesfednis finally coming to a close and I can breathe a little...and read a lot!!! Went to Barnes and Noble today and picked up a few things for myself and the Mistborn Trilogy for a friend who couldn't make it. I'm so excited for her to read them!
