So I found this entire set on ThriftBooks for $9 and I couldn't *not* buy it. This series is so nostalgic for me. It's like comfort food. Curl up with these and a cup of tea and everything is right in the world. ❤️

How to Hang a Witch | Adriana Mather

I have some thoughts about this one. It was very entertaining and I loved the bits of actually history thrown in. Witches and Salem and magic, what more could a girl ask for? However, it wasn't very well written. It was fairly cheesy at times. But I can absolutely overlook that because it was su h a fun read. I'd recommend this if you are looking for a fun, easy read during this spooky, witchy season.

I need a little light reading before I start the second book in the Kingkiller Chronicles. I've heard good things about this. Starting today. 😊

Oh boy, this one was a doozy! I laughed, I cried, I fell in love with Kvothe. Cannot wait for the second book! ❤️

I'm starting this journey today. I've heard so many people gushing about it. I cannot wait to dive in! ❤️

readingjedi Hope you enjoy it - it wasn't for me, sadly. I'm currently entrenched in Robin Hobb's Farseer trilogy & I'm really enjoying it. 3w
ThalassaLuna @readingjedi damn, that dissapointing to hear. Hopefully I enjoy it! I'll have to check out that Trilogy next! 3w
readingjedi @ThalassaLuna There are A LOT of people who love this series - you might love it too! I'm always wary of starting unfinished series as well - the last part of this one has been pending for a loooong while. 3w

ThalassaLuna @readingjedi Honestly, that was my biggest concern too. I usually like to wait until the entire series is out, but it doesn't look like it will be anytime soon for this one. So now I'm getting pre-angry that I won't be able to finish the story haha 3w
DannyHattan It‘s a great read, but as it‘s not finished it ruined the whole story for me. I‘d follow @readingjedi and start the Farseer Trilogy as it‘s amazing. 🙌🏻 (edited) 3w
ThalassaLuna @DannyHattan damn. That's a shame. The Farseer Trilogy is officially on my TBR 😊 3w

Despite taking *forever* to finish, I actually really enjoyed this one! I actually liked it a lot better than the first in the series. Looking forward to the next when it comes out.

Yay! Thank you SO much @krayoncolorz these are AWESOME! I love the history AND one of my favorite games right now is Fallout 76, set it West Virginia so this location has popped up a few times. Needless to say, I'm kinda geeking out a little. Haha

TamTracy Stepsister, crawdads, and final girls were all fabulous. I can‘t wait to read the whisper man. Haven‘t heard of the other one. Great haul!!!! 1mo

I am feeling the need to burn through my books quickly since I have a habit of checking too many out from the library at once. But I'm excited to start this one! Ready, set, GO!

Wooooow. So this was a wild ride. I really loved it. Mind fucky books are my absolute favorite and this one did not disappoint. I still have to say, I like Recursion more but this book was great. Blake Crouch is quickly becoming my new favorite author. He is brilliant.

I actually really enjoyed this book! I have two others on my TBR (that are due back to the library soon) so I'll be reading those before diving into the next books in the series. But this book was delightful. Definitely a page turner. I'm glad I read it.

Dragonfairykats I was wondering how it was, since I've been waffling over reading it 2mo
ThalassaLuna @Dragonfairykats it's very entertaining if you enjoy magick, apocalypse stories and a little romance. 2mo

Moving onto a new book that I will hopefully enjoy more than the last. A book about witches and magick, have to have my familiar with me. 😉

Ugh. I really disliked this one. I enjoyed it at first, but the more I read, the more I rolled my eyes. The conflict was lame and resolved too quickly. The sex scenes were cringy and at the most inappropriate moments (for example *immediately* following her confession of horrible childhood sexual abuse). I'm pretty disappointed in this one.

And now for a little smut. I've heard this series is great!

brit91 I really enjoyed this series!😍📚 it's one of my favorites!! 2mo
ThalassaLuna @brit91 I'm really enjoying it so far! Very reminiscent of 50 shades without all the niave, hopeless, virginal bimbo stuff. 2mo
brit91 @ThalassaLuna yes I agree I thought it was simpler too 50 shades but I think I like this series better than 50 shades! But I love 50 shades too! 2mo
ThalassaLuna @brit91 same. I really loved 50 shades. This one is refreshing though. At least Eva is putting up some resistance so far. Not just swooning helplessly into his arms. Haha 2mo

Oh boy. This one was actually fascinating. I stayed up way too late last night to finish it and I regret nothing. The dynamic between Hanna and Suzette was complicated and heartbreaking but I still found myself wanting to drop kick this 7 year old in a book. I really really enjoyed this book, as terrifying as it is. I would definitely recommend it.

WOW. It's been a long time since a book pulled me in and gripped me like this one did. I could not put it down. Thrilling, exciting, heartbreaking, I could go on. Beginning to end, this book is just perfect. I cannot recommend this one enough. 5 stars!

Ok, just got off that rollercoaster of Lock Every Door. Now I need to pick which to read next. I'm leaning towards Recursion... Any suggestions?

Just finished. And wow! What a wild ride! The thing I appreciate about this book (and the other books from the same author) is that it wasn't predictable. I kinda pegged who the bad guy was early on, but even that had a twist. There were many other twists as well that kept me guessing until the end. Action packed, terrifying and intriguing. I'd definitely recommend this one.
