Since the raidings began because of Little t's ignorance, my mom is “not allowed“ to go grocery shopping alone... she's a little warrior who is ready to fight back and defend her American rights, which means she would likely get herself into trouble if she ventures out and about alone ✊🏼😂.

I wanted to give a warning to be careful while going out shopping.

AnnCrystal As I've posted about, we are facing prejudice from store customers. From “if looks could kill“ to “utter rudeness.“

About two weeks ago, I parked the grocery cart against a shelf near the end of an aisle. I moved around the basket and stood leaning against the front of the shopping cart while I waited on my mom as she made some food selections.

All of a sudden, my cart was slammed against my lower back, I even bowed backwards a bit.

AnnCrystal I spun around and the guy mumbled as if it were my fault that he ran into my cart.

It took four days to heal. I waited a few days before I mentioned this to my mom, she wasn't happy that I hadn't told her sooner. I'm just glad it was me and not my mother that this happened to. My mom did tell me to yell out loudly the next time, “ouch, what's your problem!“ to embarrass the person.

AnnCrystal These people seem to be trying to cause a ruckus, possibly trying to get people upset so they can have an excuse to call the cops.

Just try to stay calm and avoid such people...unless they try to drag you off someplace or become violent, then you need to yell for help and fight back!

There are still too many ghost grocery carts abandoned in the aisles. Try to venture out in pairs.

But something has happened.

Haven't been sleeping well, & we have a max limit of 2 cups of coffee per day...so, this is basically written at a level of anxiety & rage that hasn't been emotionally processed/remedied.

At a park where families, teenagers, a kid summer camp, park venders, and a homeless medical pop-up were all going about Summer activities...

National Guard in tanks, holding weapons, federal agents forming lines on foot and horseback, caravans of federal agents, & possibly even a military helicopter all swarmed MacArthur Park.

AnnCrystal Our Mayor Bass was on the way to an unrelated press conference when she saw the helicopter.

Mayor Bass went and helped evacuate the park.

Over Live coverage, it looked like a federal agent reached and grabbed Mayor Bass' arm, but this is not confirmed.

Children from camp were rushed into a nearby building for protection.

Those from the homeless medical pop-up were surrounded & frightened, by armed agents who reportedly cursed at them.

No kidnaps are known.

The presence of National Guard and federal agents have all left MacArthur Park.

NBC LA has since reported that peaceful protestors are now gathering at this park.

Just realized that Walmart fired Adrian Andrew Martinez while he was still being held. An American employee who was kidnapped by armed, unidentifiable agents from a Walmart parking lot. (I wrote this in first Highlights From California).

We have only been to Walmart once (for necessities) since the “no corporate shopping“ at the beginning of 2025.

Now I am truly considering how my mom & I could ever again feel safe shopping here.

AnnCrystal If Walmart refused to stand with their own employee during such an injustice... Walmart should have at least stood with this boy's worried mother. Walmart could have at least secured his employment.

It hadn't even been Walmart security footage that helped clear Martinez of the false allegations against him...it was a neighboring business.

TheBookHippie @AnnCrystal thank god she‘s very tough, but she‘s not very big and she was very upset. Her 11 year old son -who is huge -was with her and I think that helped, but never again. She‘s just going to stick to our Asian market and do delivery. It‘s so horrific. 2mo

IriDas Haven‘t shopped at Walmart in years except once for an item we could not get anywhere else except mail order. It‘s the garbage company of garbage companies. This is not shocking to me at all. 2mo

JenlovesJT47 I‘m screenshotting this so I can find the 80s version! I do love the remake. I binged the first season in 36 hours 😬😆 I love anything in the Psycho universe. The original movie is a masterpiece and imo all 3 sequels are solid, especially 2 & 4. 2 is probably the best sequel for a horror movie I‘ve seen (at least one that‘s so popular!). Cary López Alvarado, a 9 Month pregnant American born was detained by ice when they came for her undocumented boyfriend.

Alvarado told agents that she was “from here“ they asked, “where's here?“ When she explained herself, they wouldn't believe her.

She was later released to a hospital and has since had her beautiful baby.

When Walmart employee Adrian Andrew Martinez, an American Born, tried to inquire about a coworker who was being detained in Pico Rivera...Martinez himself was detained after a violent struggle with federal agents.

This incident is important because agents claimed Martinez pulled a punch and assaulted a federal agent. Security footage provided proof that this was untrue...which seemingly sets a questionable tone upon accusations against others. (edited) 3mo

American born Andrea Velez, was detained by ICE agents in downtown Los Angeles while walking to work.

Velez was dropped off by her mom and sister and they witnessed her being kidnapped.

FBI agents took Alejandro Theodoro Orellana into custody for allegedly “distributing face shields to suspected rioters”

A video appears to show Orellana giving these face shields to random people during daylight hours. It seems odd that Orellana would be held accountable if one or more of these apparent “strangers“ later became violent.

Some sources claim that Orellana is a former U.S. Marine.

In Boyle Heights, federal agents detained a U.S. citizen, Christian Cerna by boxing in his car with unmarked vehicles. Witnesses described agents using vehicles to trap the car and emerging with weapons drawn. One witness reported tear gas being used.

Cerna's partner and two young children were also in the car at the time of the arrest.

It is claimed that Cerna had punched an agent at a protest.

...she saw her sister being thrown to the ground before being arrested and forced into an unmarked car by unidentified officers near 9th and Main Street in downtown Los Angeles.

Andrea Velez was released at 6 p.m. on June 26, 2025 on a $5,000 bond.

The Department of Homeland Security said Velez “forcefully obstructed an ICE officer,“ and is charged with assaulting a federal officer.“

A charge that Velez and witnesses says is untrue.

Velez's lawyer is filing lawsuit in defense of his client. (edited) 3mo
