I enjoyed this one a lot! Teens Kennedy and Nolan, who have both suffered great losses, are brought together by an odd radio frequency signal. They start to investigate and as the days go by, they find that not only does it seem like the signal was meant for only them, but also that their pasts could be connected. A solid YA thriller!
I don‘t want to say too much since this is my pick for #round6 of #lmpbc for #groupb. This was between a pick and so-so for me. If you‘re into family sagas then this will probably be more of a pick for you. Some of the dysfunctional family dynamics and the way the children chose to cope hit a little close to home for me. Despite that, the writing was beautiful and I chose to give it a pick. It will be off to Hawaii very soon.
@Skeebies05 sorry I forgot to take a pic but mailed your book out this morning. Also sorry it is getting back to you late. Really enjoyed our last round of #LMPBC #groupL #round5 and enjoying this read so far for #round6. It is giving me all kinds of emotions!!!!
I need to stop signing up for #LMPBC since I apparently cannot pick a decent book for this to save my life (although I LOVED my last book even if the rest of my group did not). 😭 I'm new to manga, but did not enjoy the story line in this one. Rotten characters, hard to follow speech bubbles, and questionable attitudes towards dogs. However, I'm dying to see what the more experienced readers in my group have to say about it.
Apsolutely loving this book. Still getting used to writing in it for the #litsypostalmarkup #round6 My son said “ Mum are you writing in that book...that‘s a sin” 🤣🤣My husband (farmer and self proclaimed barista😊) made me a lovely coffee to have whilst reading...
