So, I hit a wall with #darktower book four and had to take a break. I‘m glad I did! I‘m only about 60 pages into this new story from #ErnestCline and I really dig it so far. I may not like where Wade is at the moment, but I‘m excited to see his journey. #readyplayerone is my favorite book so this was a must read.

I am so very late to this party but I‘m glad I finally got around to it! Fun and super nerdy with a TON of 80‘s references! Was definitely entertaining read that had me hooked till the last page! Chose #ReadyPlayerOne because it‘s a book we both love and have bonded over!

Buechersuechtling I just told @JakeRuble the same: I gave this as a birthday present to my significant other who is no big reader. Then we went on vacation – and guess who sat on the beach reading. 🙊 I loved it❣️ “Ready Player Two” is not yet published in German, so I gave him 2 vouchers for Christmas, one for “Ready Player One” as audiobook, the other for “Ready Player Two” as audiobook. We liste to them while cooking. Already looking forward to this. 3y

Buechersuechtling @Cruble88 @JakeRuble In my Highschool years I read “The-Hitchhikers-Guide-to-the-Galaxy”-series every year in summer. Actually I had planned to do so again last year shortly before my 42nd birthday but I didn‘t manage to because walk back then has been mayhem. But, you know, maybe I _really_ should start a re-read. after all, Highschool years are over since long ago. 😂 3y

Cruble88 @Buechersuechtling I just got back into reading last year. Nursing school really drained my love of reading. I graduated in 2019 and had to force myself to pick books up again. Now I‘m starving for literature and I definitely want to reread some of my favorites! 3y

Buechersuechtling @Cruble88 (1/2) Oh, I feel you! I remember that it has been all same for me during my college years. I just couldn‘t bring myself to reading because reading back then was connected to the assigned and necessary reading I had to do in huge amounts for my studies. After I graduated, it took a while until I could convince myself again, that there is a huge difference between specialised literature and reading (novels) for pleasure. 3y

Buechersuechtling @Cruble88 (2/2) That was, why I for many years (for 15, to be exact) haven‘t touched any non-fiction book. I just absolutely couldn‘t because it would bring back that learning-and-exam-situation immediately. 3y
