Megan, the book is on its way to you. You should get it on the 13th! Hope you enjoy it! Sorry it is a little late! It is in a brown Amazon envelope that I reused. I forgot to get a pic before the mail guy took it from me. @Patchshank @TheSpineView @lazylokistarkthorcaptain #Litsylovewritesnbooks
The story of a disputed daVinci painting, this is an exhaustive look at the Salvador Mundi itself and the art world a s a whole. I found pieces of it fascinating but other parts really bogged down for me. Full review at http://booknaround.blogspot.com/2022/08/review-last-leonardo-by-ben-lewis.html

This is a nice collection of Monet‘s work from his early still life's to the final water lily collection. The book begins with a brief narrative of Monet‘s life and explanations of the paintings that follow. I love Monet‘s appreciation for nature. My favorite passage explains that students of Monet “were instructed to go direct to Nature, to transcribe their own observations, and if they were not satisfied to give up being artists.” #MountTBR
