tpixie @AmyG @Libby1 we inherited a lovely chaise lounge from my great aunt. It was my favorite reading place! My older sister took it to her house & unfortunately she put it in the basement and mice got in it. I sure wish she would have offered it to me when she quit using it! Otherwise she's a great sister! 😊🤪😊 6y

Since I am usually with a book, I enjoy reading in quiet parks, surrounded by lush greenery.
I realised I have often found myself reading near water bodies like reservoirs, and even creeks (my birthday treat, in Penang last year ;))
I couldn't find the picture of the book I took near the Ganges, as I read facing the majestic Himalayas. #memories

BookishMe @GatheringBooks the gazebo is along the Southern Ridges Walk (can't recall if that's near Kent Ridge or Mt Faber ;o) and the bottom photo was taken at Bedok Reservoir. Chinese Garden is convenient/ nearest for you? Can't recall seating spots there. Botanical Gardens is BEST for quiet reading almost anytime ;D 6y

BookishMe @GatheringBooks I could say the same for East Coast. I think the last visit was way before Marina Cove/ Greenland Park? Somewhere along the way, children have outgrown West Coast Park ;(( 6y

Here are a few of my #idealbookatoir . I love the water so reading right by the water would be wonderful. I also love the thought of a covered patio and being able to see and hear the rain while cuddled up on a couch. And it's really important that I have access to all the books! @BarbaraTheBibliophage
