Ugh, I crave more of this series! I absolutely devoured and loved it. I picked it up because it is about vampires and looks like Twilight, and I love Twilight. So, I had to read this. Is it like Twilight? No, it is its own story and differs, however there is a Twilight mention that made me so nostalgic! I loved the world building and the characters so much.

Sigh. I wanted to love this, I really, really did. Magical realism sprawling family history tale that brought back echoes of One Hundred Years of Solitude. But like an echo, it doesn't have the power of the original. Maybe it's because I've put One Hundred Years on such a high pedestal #five #countingbooks

4 friends and their friendships that spans 5 summers at sleep-away camp. Fun read...felt long at times. The storyline jumps back and forth between girls and summers so it can get confusing if you aren't paying attention. #litsybythenumbers #five #5

The Old Wives‘ Tale is a wonderful portrait of the lives of two sisters and I‘ve been wanting to return to the #Five Towns ever since I read it. Alas, this is another book still on my #tbr. #novemberbythenumbers
