Megabooks Yes, I just finished the essay where her dad kicks her out of his home in Barbados. Not much local flavor since she was a kid, but one of the essays does fit! 1y

jenniferw88 I'd like to warn (or remind!) #PemberLittens that it is a #chunkster! If you still want to read a Radcliffe but put off by the size, I'd suggest the tagged one. It's her first popular novel and so she's only just getting into her stride, but still good. Her best is The Italian but wasn't as much of an influence on Jane as my timeline post on the GR group shows - find the pub dates of Mysteries & Northanger to see why Mysteries did!
