I love her writing, she takes me to a magical place that no other book has taken me. I love the feel of story. The romance, the magic, the scenery.. This was intense and awesome! I loved seeing historic China reimagined in a sci-fi context with epic mechs. The characters are strong, as are their motives, and the world building is vivid. I also love that everything I wanted or predicted happened, from relationship development to two major twists toward the end. #LGBTQIA #Chinese #SciFi #Mech

I could not resist getting the magnolia sword after seeing it posted by @MadelineMcCrae ❤ also took the chance to get the original Mulan version with other stories to make a great experience with it. I thought this would be a good pick to see the parallels of #social #culture with now but it started with a long chapter on the defeat of the #Native Americans... next chapter is on #Chinese immigration. Maybe I‘m not getting the organization yet?

I absolutely loved this little gem of a book.
So much history, art and culture.
Chinese and Japanese subjects are always my favourite and I love learning about the deep rooted history's.
