But The Last Secret Agent is a new book I‘ve started reading this past week. I am only into it a chapter or two, maybe three, but so far it‘s very interesting. pickThis is the definitive account by someone there to document the events. I mean, he was in the crowd witnessing historic speeches and running for shelter during bombing raids. If you want to know almost everything about the Nazi regime, this is the book. The infamous question: ‘How did the German population let this happen?‘ Is somewhat answered here. Terrifying, and highly recommended. Happy 'NO KINGS' day!

Trent Dalton‘s writing is not for me. I read Boy Swallows Universe and it was ok but this second book really grated on my nerves. Partly, because I really disliked the narrator‘s exceedingly broad accent and her infantilisation of 13yo Molly. Dalton is added to the list of male Australian writers I do not enjoy - such as Tim Winton. I find their short, repetitive sentences irritating. I will not bother with any more books
pick4✨Cilka was at Auschwitz‘s with our tattooist from the previous book. Many of the main events in this book were based on the research the author was able to obtain. On this research there is mixed reviews on how Cilka presented herself, but in this environment survival is the first thought that went through all their minds. I enjoyed this as much as I could considering the content, but did need to take a break before finishing it. #SeriesLove
