Happy Friday everyone 😎🥃🌞📚

Today's photo in the #booksnbooze series is 'Holding' with a cloudy cider. Nothing hits the spot on a hot day like a pint of cider 🍻

A strawberry gin fizz to go with my ‘20s themed book! #historynerd #roaring20s #booksnbooze

That. Was. Intense. I mostly have no idea what the hell was going on. I feel like a bug 😆. That comment has context in the book. I feel compelled to finish the trilogy just to see if I figure stuff out.
Great #booksnbooze discussion, though! My book group, that is.

Huh. That was not what I was expecting. Definitely the most unusual Victorian-age historical I've read. Still unsure what my thoughts really are, but I'm sure my #booksnbooze book club discussion will clear that right up 😁😁

Well, hmm. That was. Hmm. I'd say a solid "okay". Somewhere between pick and so-so. I think the character of Frank was (probably unintentionally) problematic. I think I would've liked it better had it not been for that. Looking forward to my book club discussion of this tonight, though!

Yes. Why be myself if everything about the situation makes me uncomfortable and awkward? I've had these thoughts before. They're not fun thoughts.

Maybe just maybe I shouldn't encourage #huxleythecat to sit on my books? 🤔

Whoo hoo, book #3 done for #24in48! Doing these readathons really knocks down some of my #mounttbr, that's for sure.
Side note, what a weird book. Can't wait to read this with my work book group, #booksnbooze, because I have many thoughts.
