pickHuh. That was not what I was expecting. Definitely the most unusual Victorian-age historical I've read. Still unsure what my thoughts really are, but I'm sure my #booksnbooze book club discussion will clear that right up 😁😁
so-soWell, hmm. That was. Hmm. I'd say a solid "okay". Somewhere between pick and so-so. I think the character of Frank was (probably unintentionally) problematic. I think I would've liked it better had it not been for that. Looking forward to my book club discussion of this tonight, though!
