Finally finished “Neverwhere“ on last Wednesday. The rest were read during #DeweysReadathon. It's been a good week.

My hold for “Toxic Prey“ came in this morning and I started it over lunch. Love Lucas and Letty Davenport!

Next is a Gray Man novel-these books on average take 7-10 days to read so I'm prepared for a lot excitement and intensity.

#bookreport & #weeklyforecast
#finished: I finished quite a number of books this past week, due in large part to #deweysreadathon that was held on Saturday and the fact that I had two book club meetings last week (finished my other book last week). Reviews of these books will be forthcoming this week.

#currentlyreading: still plugging away at The Kingdom and will be picking up The Essex Serpent again this week (just a really busy reading time)

melissajayne #upcomingreads: I am planning on starting The Women, Legends and Wolf Hall this coming week. I hope to try to combine my apartment cleaning/packing with my reading as much as possible.

Hope you all have a wonderful week of reading.📚

I am half into River East and Ordinary Human, I am not going to get through the Long list before the shortlist is announced, many of these picks this year have been underwhelming and it has slowed me down. So far I am enjoying OHF but it is a bit heavy.
I also have the tagged on audio to liven things up. With the state of the world I might be bailing on these heavy WPF books and reading lighter happier books.

BarbaraBB I loved OHF but it is sad indeed and O know what you mean about the state of the world. Looking for an escape from reality 🥹 1d

I am reading The Wild Laughter, not sure what to think yet. Next will be the tagged book and last but not least, the Iris Murdoch is my #Roll100 book.

TrishB Oh I have the tagged one! Look forward to your review. 2d
Ruthiella Ooh! A new (to you and me) Iris Murdoch title! 2d
ChaoticMissAdventures I am about half into River East will be curious what you think. 2d

Only managed to finish my commute book this week. I also am in a bit of a reading slump and haven't made much time for eye reading.

#WeeklyForecast
My goal this week is to finish GMatLP because I have a substitute shift where there is very little actual work to do. I'd also like to make more progress on OaFK.

Combined #BookReport and #WeeklyForecast :

Last week I managed to complete a few titles and bailed on one book. Hamish Macbeth seems less like the Columbo of the Scottish Highlands with R.W. Green taking up the reins from M.C. Beaton. And Nancy‘s adventures at Red Gate Farm were more enjoyable to read than her time at Shadow Ranch.

This week, I need to finish my reread of Mr. Churchill‘s Secretary for IRL book club. We‘ll see what else happens!
