This was for #CBBC I think the book sent was the second in the series but I wanted to read first book #1.
The typical cozy mystery. Here the mystery and plot was related with knitting 🧶 which I don‘t do but it was interesting. The murder was more violent I could say than the typical cozy stories I have read. I already read book #2. 3⭐️

February 2025 Book #5

This is a collection of short stories, powerful ones in terms of topics. First book I read by this author and looking forward to read more books by her. However, my experience with short story collections is that I like some more that the others and this is not an exception. Also, some stories I saw them more narrative, informative than a short story per se. It was the same experience I had with In A Dream Hoyse ⬇️

Gissy (Cont.) by Carmen Maria Machado. That one is not a short story collection but sometimes I saw also the story as one informative, giving statics or facts that disconnect the idea, the flow, the line, premise of the book. That was my experience with both readings. But I really liked this book and the message. 3.5⭐️ 7mo

jen_the_scribe I have not heard of this one, but this is one of many reasons why I love Litsy. Word of mouth gets more books read than anything else. Stacked, and I plan to share my insights on it when I do read it. 9mo

DogMomIrene My library doesn‘t have a copy yet. I hit that Notify Me tag in Libby and I‘ll let that cook. If I get itchy to read this one, I‘ll buy it. Because Zuck just disgusts me. I‘m surprised more of his employees aren‘t telling their tales. I‘m thinking there‘s a market for them and I‘d guess different people from different areas with various levels of access would have things to share🤞🏼 9mo
