Day 31 results for #Scarathon2020 @StayCurious #TeamHarkness Points = 101. I spent all day at the horse show so the only reading I got done yesterday was listening to an audiobook in the car. On a positive note my horse and I placed 4th in our division. Very good for our first time. The judge commented on the the score card that she could see the "beginnings of a great team". ???? #screamathon2020 @4thhouseontheleft

Cupcake12 Love the top 2, I‘ve read them both this year. How did you find them? 3y
TheSpineView @Cupcake12 I really liked The School for Good and Evil. I have not finished The Flip Side but so far I am enjoying it. 3y

Pickpick

This was a interesting blend of real people and history with fiction. It was a little slow at first but picks a bit after the author sets the stage for the rest of the book. There is a lot of history in this book which I enjoyed. There was some mystery and also paranormal elements but I truly expecting more in the latter area given the title. We do get that but it takes a bit to reach it. Overall it was enjoyable. So my rating is 3.4 - 4 ⭐

I enjoyed this simple reading challenge!

This is a very slow pacing story, you have to willingly sit down and dedicate time as the story slowly reveals its self. You hate characters in this and you will love others and the spooky elements are there but not in the ghosts aspects. But I will say this, Raul can give men pointers on how to say nice things about women cuz the way this boy talked about his crush was the absolute sweetest thing ever! I actually really loved Raul as the Mc.

This has very subtle ‘Hatchet‘ and ‘Lord of the Flies‘ vibes going for it, but it also does not have any fae like I thought it did lol. It‘s intriguing as it more survival then it is spooky and has a mild pacing that can either bore one or entice them. The idea of the underground civilization was interesting in both good and bad ways.

Christopher_Tallon I'ma try it! 3y
Sweetkokoro @Christopher_Tallon Oh I‘m intrigued to see what you think. It was the complete opposite of what I thought it was going to be haha. 3y

Pickpick

This was a wicked little tale about a girl who “borrows” the dust from bones for the lady who care for her. She slowly uncovers deep secrets and sets out to solve them with some help from two others, who she learns she has more in common with then she thought. It‘s all action and immediately starts out in the throes of story telling and just takes off, never a dull moment!

Pickpick

This story had a very interesting plot idea of memory stealing and the ups and downs Benji goes through are insane and at times very intense. It‘s a little slow at first but once things get moving it really does start to get interesting.
