pickIn a near future America has collapsed into a state of anarchy with danger everywhere. Lauren Olamina is a young girl leading a group of people across California, meanwhile inventing a new religion, Earthseed. It‘s an unpopular opinion but I didn‘t like this book as others seem to. It reminded me of The Stand, The Road and Station Eleven, and didn‘t stood out amongst them. Between a pick and a so-so.
