I do like a bookish beginning to a story ??️This is from the title story, the first of the 11 "weird and ghostly tales", written towards the end of the 19th century.
A lovely foil cover, but not sure how it otherwise earns its marketing as a 'deluxe edition'. It is a 'nice' edition, nonetheless.
