Catching up on haikus. This one is inspired by these macarons I bought at a little cupcake/dessert place in Hilo. I like looking at them almost as much as eating them.

Another rainy Saturday so we went to the bookstore and grabbed some new books and then treated ourselves to lunch. Three books for mom, three books for the boy and five books for the girl.

It's time to vote! The #CampLitsy25 longlist is looong again but it will be so hard to choose from the amazing books that you‘ve nominated. Please take your time and vote for the six books you‘d want to read together in June, July and August. Do so before May 9 please. We‘ll get back to you soon after that with the six winners!

Well it‘s snowing where I live in northern Vermont today so I‘ll be reading about the Challenger, dipping into the New Yorker, watching the Red Sox play baseball and the Celtics play in the playoffs. Except for the snow, it sounds like a great day!

Rainy day trip to the book store with the kids. Grabbed two books each. The library ghost is such a cute little book!!

3 ⭐ Silly Street is just like dirt on my shirt. It‘s a collection of children‘s poems. However, this collection has a theme. It‘s of walking down the silly street. It‘s a different shop you‘ll meet. Different things to do in kids to hang out with too. This book is more successful because there‘s a coherent theme where dirt on my shirt fell very cobbled together.
