Mehso-so

This was definitely not as good as Austenland, but good enough to listen to while I was working on a puzzle.

I finished the tagged book during my daily Candy Crush time, and I loved it. It‘s fun, funny, emotional, and perfectly in tune with that state of being where you‘re desperately trying to figure out what it seems like everyone else in your situation has already mastered. #deweysapril2024 #audiogaming

I was not expecting to like this so much. I loved Allegra and her co-workers (Tripp was my favorite!).

I especially loved that Allegra kept a positive attitude throughout the book no matter what was being thrown at her.

I recommend this book for someone who is looking for an easy read that is also sprinkled with some wise life lessons.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not a “love” book but a like one. I‘m so impartial to everyone in the story and feel not invested in everyone but kind of Melody. But I‘m happy with the ending.

First off, there‘s so much Filipino representation in this book. I loved it. The book captures so much of Filipino culture and family life. As a Filipino American, I found it very relatable (especially in regards to how stubborn Filipino mothers can be).

I really love Abbi Waxman‘s writing style. It‘s quirky and unique and so are her characters. Nina Hill is a very likeable woman who has anxiety and loves books more than people. She surrounded by supportive friends and newly found family. The planner entries in each chapter add a fun touch to the story.

KadaGul @Kar2bI read this book for #AuldLangSpine from the list of contemporary and romantic comedy books recommended by @Read4life. While I enjoyed reading the book, it didn't captivate me as much as the other books on the list. #AuldLangSpine 1w
Kar2b @KadaGul her writing style is very different than other contemporary fiction/romance writers. I actually read these out of order and started with Adult Assembly Required. 7d
