This picks up after book one and jere she finds unexpected allies, a tutor, too many revelations, pain and anger that not only fuel her for what's to come but is the beginning of what I can see as the Queen of Hearts and I am giddy to think how book three will play out.

Moira Quirk is amazing in her narration and portrayal of Dinah. She's so full of emotions that I never have a problem knowing which is character is which.

The former Princess of Wonderland was lost. Leaves crunched loudly beneath Dinah‘s feet as she made her way through the Twisted Wood, her exhausted body groaning, her eyes taking in the maze of living trees that breathed above her.

Started off a bit slow for me but I definitely enjoyed where it went. I was really into how certain elements of the classic tale were woven into the story. The romance part was a bit irritating at times, but I enjoy how the author is not going for the ideal romance that some books have. I'm very curious to see how it all wraps up in the final book.

I did not enjoy this one as much as the first one. I just found Dinah to be whiny and annoying in this book, not the strong heroine I was looking for. That being said I will still be reading the last book.

Absolutely loved reading this! I feel it was a perfectly paced sequel to the first in the series 'Queen of Hearts'. This series so far has definitely got to be one of my favourite fairytale retellings I have read.
I love how the story progresses within this book and still leaves a lot of space for the 3rd and final book to tell the remainder of Dinah's story.

Here's the next book in the Queen of Hearts Series. It was a classic middle book- as in nothing much happened till close to the end. I sped through it and am hoping for the next book to have more action. I can't say happy ending, because we all know how the Queen turns out. 😜

This book was soooo much better than the first!!!!! It's a miracle. I thought I was going to have to give the series up, but I am now so excited for the last book. A bit rambling and boring for the first 100 pages, but then picks up and ends with a fantastic cliffhanger. Can't wait to see what happens in the next book!

I have no words except for "When the hell does book 3 come out??!!??" Absolutely loved the continuum of Dinah's story and seeing that classic Queen Of Hearts rage slowly build inside her. Great twists and gut-wrenching moments throughout. Chessie and I really need the rest!

Got my book mail today and am getting no sleep tonight until this is finished... thank goodness for a crazy snow/ freezing rain storm outside and the possibility of a snow day tomorrow from work and for hot water in a "sippy" mug to warm my soul!

Love where this series is going. I love getting to know Dinah, with her hot temper and passion. Lots of surprises in the second book and absolutely love the audiobook narrator. Definitely a series to read asap!
