Finished the #LMPBC book for September. I skimmed chunks of this book (lots of fight scenes). But overall, I did like the world and the magic and some of the characters.

I had a few start and stops with the book, but I think I needed to just read it through. I like this world and the story line and the profanity cracked me up! I have a new appreciation for hobgoblins. I‘m glad this was an #lmpbc book and it will be in the mail Tuesday.

1) Only had one new read and one reread. So I tagged the new read.

The book is really fun btw. I had to leave it on the side burner for a while, but started reading again yesterday. I really like the protagonist and the cheeky hobgoblin, too.

The fun, creative plot lines and sense of humor in Hearne's books never fails to delight me!

I didn't quite click with Al as well as I clicked with Atticus at first, but I still enjoyed this book immensely and am looking forward to the next in the series!

#bookhaul I haven‘t been around bc last week was my first week back at work and munchkin‘s first week of daycare. And now of course he‘s sick and so am I bc he sneezed directly into my mouth 🤦‍♀️😳

Lighthearted read of a magical fairy/monster tale set in Glasgow - nice to be able to envisage the familiar in amongst the fantastical.
