As for the American Election, I know I‘m an outsider and hope all my American friends don‘t take any offence, but what takes the foremost world super power so long to count votes and declare a result! Have they just not appointed enough counters?!?!

CocoReads I‘m baffled. And I‘ll be really pissed if Biden wins the popular vote but loses the electoral. It‘s been our theory here at work that if 45 loses, he‘s going to refuse to concede. We‘re on pins and needles here. 3y
IamIamIam Mail in ballots are a mess. Every state had their own deadline and with ballots being postmarked by the 3rd, you're just begging for civil unrest! Should have appointed PTA chairs to run the mail in side... don't mess with me when my committee has a deadline! 😂 Luckily, inaugurations don't take place until January. Hopefully they'll be caught up by then! 3y

Birdsong28 Been a weird day at work as we waiting on the decision as to whether we were going to be staying open or not. So we had loads of awful customers and I got shouted at alot, we had a really bad one first thing as he was shouting at a colleague so I went to her to help her and refused him service so he went out the shop and told all our other customers not to shop there. After that 'performance' everyone was really concerned about us. 3y
Lynnsoprano @CocoReads It‘s a nail biter, for sure. And the electoral college has to go. @Andrew65 we have 50 different sets of rules, throw in the mess with the postal service, and it‘s crazy. Can‘t believe what happened with the Senate. My emotions have been all over the place today. 3y
Birdsong28 We had the decision through and we are staying open for click and collect only and me and my colleagues are working on things in the store that we can't do when customers are about. 3y

BookwormM Still waiting to find out about wfh. As hubby currently unemployed don‘t want to rock the boat in my job hoping boss does the right thing but who knows company talk the talk but will they walk the walk? 3y

kezzlou85 I've been following the election despite being in England and it must be a nightmare waiting for an answer. Been a good day here. Just been getting some new mask rules for my daughter's high school. Luckily she's used to wearing one for the bus anyway . 3y
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick Other than the US teetering on the brink of Civil War, I'm having an OK day.😂 I did some routine account calls this morning so took it easy this afternoon with some projects to help out my GM. Then I hid in my office to finish a book for about an hour. I'm still here a little longer so I'll send out a few emails & hope to leave soon. @Birdsong28 Sorry!
