🧡 I managed 6 bingos in February thanks to several short stories. I read my #DoubleSpin book but not my #BookSpin book. I moved it (and the other 5 books I didn‘t get to) to my March list. 🍀
3 of the bingos came while I was reading for #20in4.
so-soIf the Netflix show is book 1, this is book 3, and each one is Christmas themed. Dash has been at Oxford and Lily comes for a visit, and...not a lot happens. Conflict is pretty minimal, and I'm not sure there was a lot there - there are friends and quirky relatives, dogs and winter scenes, and of course at least one bookstore. Nice to have two narrators in audio because it goes by quickly, and was a rom-com ending to my winter vacation.
so-soI enjoyed the Netflix miniseries more than this book (third in series—first two installments weren't available for me to borrow on audio when I needed a fluffy infusion). That's unusual (but OK)!

pickI liked this one more than the 2nd. The title couple are in London. Dash is having an existential crisis, but he‘s also become close with his grandma, Gem. He‘s a student at Oxford & finds that reality doesn‘t always live up to the fantasy. Lily is successful in her dog walking business but her family doubts her future plan. I love how they stay true to themselves & each other as they navigate the hurdles of growing up. A sweet holiday treat.

pickThis book was a lot better then the second book that I read yesterday. Dash and Lily have graduated high school. Lily has decided to take a gap year and Dash is going to London to study at Oxford. When Lily finds out Dash isn‘t coming home to NYC for Christmas she is sad and doesn‘t want to spend Christmas without him. So she decides to take a trip to London. Will the trip to London bring them back together or tear them apart.
pickI'm not one to rush the holidays. I don't listen to Christmas music, until after Thanksgiving. Same with Christmas movies and books. But with 2020 being what it is and this coming out on Election Day, I thought it would make a nice distraction. Plus Dash and Lily premiers November 10th on Netflix. I decided to make an exception. Glad I did. It was delightful! ⬇️
