There's this podcast from Slate called Hit Parade whose host covers all different eras of pop music by analyzing slices of charts history. Leftcoastzen @Tonton hope you stay safe . We have had lots of humidity because of needed rain . Usually it‘s a dry heat , not this summer. 2y

Leftcoastzen @AmyG yeah, I‘m in Phoenix.what is alarming though , 2020 was the worst.144 days over 100,days over 110 (53)&115 (14) that summer there were 28 days the low was 90 or above.People keep moving here , we have no water.I would likely have left that year but for family obligations. 2y

sarahbellum @Ruthiella I‘m in So Cal too! Just north of Long Beach, so we don‘t get it as bad as some of the more inland areas. Looks like we‘ll get close to 100 this weekend though and we don‘t have AC 😩 2y

AmyG We have water issues here. That means if dry, fires. This winter has been more rainy but still major water problems. 😳 2y

Leftcoastzen @sarahbellum I used to live in Long Beach . No air either. I lived pretty close to the beach but if we had 90 for a few days in a row & I was able, off to the Costa Mesa Hilton I would go! 2y

Leftcoastzen @Ruthiella yikes ! I love so many things in the Inland Empire but I couldn‘t make it there without air. My grandma & grandpa lived in the Midwest. They had a window air conditioner for the hottest time of year . Hung up a flannel sheet between living room & dining room to hold it in. 2y

Just for fun, some pictures of my morning. Our library branch has been closed since Saturday evening b/c the AC is broken. A handful of employees go in every other day to keep books under control. Here is a picture of our book drop after 2 days, the 86 bins of delivery items from M-Th waiting to be opened and processed, and the current temps in the building. We got a lot done in an hour and a half! I have the best co-workers!
