pickContinuing on with my Anita Blake series read, I finished this at work today. Not bad but definitely not as good as the ones before it.
Anita really gets on my nerves, though, and it's starting to get old. I get that she has morals, which is great, but for someone so against sex she seems to be pretty focused on it. Either do it or don't....just pick one already!

pickOne of my favorite parts of this particular Anita Blake novel is the character depth added to the lovely Jean-Claude. We find out a bit about his past and it manages to make me love him even more (if that's possible). But with that come challenges that even listening to it for a second time (and having read it before) still made me nervous. And we get more Jason too. It's a good one.
pickGreat, this book was the darkest I've read in the Anita Blake series so far with some great twists.
