Sitting in the bleachers freezing my fingers off waiting for my kiddos game to start and the sun to come out! 🥶

Acevedo is so incredibly talented. A story told in verse about the lose of a father and the unexpected news of an unknown sister. These two girls live worlds apart and now need to figure out how to deal with this all and move forward. 4.5⭐️
I stumbled upon this book yesterday and figured I‘d give it a shot since it was included in my audible. I devoured it! It was so cute and charming and intriguing. It‘s a total audio rom com right down to the ending. 4.5⭐️
I do not know how to rate this book. Although the writing is really well done, the content is hard to stomach.
Bishop has to solve the mysterious murder of Evelyn Hardcastle in eight days, and if that‘s not hard enough, he had to do it while inhabiting the bodies of different witnesses. This book had so many questions, and tried to do so much, I found it so confusing. The author was amazing at making it all work. It was very compelling and kept me reading, but I honestly couldn‘t keep up with all of it most of the time. It‘s a great story though! 3.5/4⭐️
So excited to start this one! 😆
Just started this and it‘s already pulling at the heart strings!
I thought this book was pretty cute, a nice typical rom com kind of story. Tiffy needs to find a new place and the only thing in her budget is sharing a flat with a strange guy, but they‘re never meant to be in the flat at the same time. 4⭐️
Rainy day trip to Barnes and Nobel. I‘m not sure which one I‘m more excited to start reading!
This book has been sitting on my shelf for a year waiting to be read. I decided to pick it up this morning and I‘m so mad at myself for letting it sit there. For so long. Xiomara writes her thoughts and feelings through poems in a journal. Poems about boys, and questioning religion, being able to be herself. The novel is told entirely in verse. 4.5⭐️
I‘ve been reading this on and off all day. I need to finish, I need to know what‘s going on!
Found this on audible included in my subscription. I hadn‘t heard of it before, but it‘s pretty interesting so far!
A heartbreaking story of loss and living. Edward is the sole survivor of an unlikely plane crash. He is struggling with his survival and learning how to continue living. 4⭐️
The true definition of multitasking. Finishing my audio book while crocheting on a road trip.
The stories told by Morris break my heart, but are so beautifully written.
Got my second dose today! Taking the evening to relax and to make some headway in this book.
I finished! Amy, a single mom spends the summer in NYC after her husband who left the family returns to try and make amends. She finds a new side of herself while she‘s there and really grows to like this life. Throughout she wrestles with the guilt of taking time for herself and wonders how she is any better than the husband who left his family. The book was good, the parental guilt and the desire for a break would hit home for any parent. 3.75⭐️
I‘ve been listening to this book. The mom guilt that is a prominent aspect of the book, really hits home.
Stayed at a super cute B&B this weekend and enjoy some R&R
I picked up a few books that I‘ve been wanting to read tonight. I‘m super excited to start reading them!
I was waiting for this sequel for a while. Now that I have it though I‘ve been struggling to get into it. Fingers crossed it gets more interesting.
Ignoring who the author is and some of the controversial things she‘s said, the story was good. Friendship, loyalty, honesty and an Ickabog. It was a fun read. I already suggested it to my 9 year old, she‘ll love it.
In Sweden a man called Ove is described as a curmudgeon who is dealing with his grief but finds comfort and healing in unlikely places.
I want to give this book all of the stars! 5⭐️
Before reading it I read reviews about how people laughed and cried and how heartfelt the story was. I honestly don‘t know that I can give a better review. I sobbed through the last few chapters because it was such a beautiful story.
I got my first dose of the vaccine today! Now to spend the rest of the day relaxing and reading!
I have a new favorite word, curmudgeon! Loving this book, I love Ove.
It has taken me soooo long to finish this book. It was honestly so much effort to push myself to finish it. The book is fine, but it just didn‘t pull me in.
This was such a beautiful story and so relevant that I think everyone needs to read it! 5 ⭐️
I had to push myself through the first half of this book. The main character Marissa was incredibly difficult to connect with, but by the end I was rooting for her. It was an okay read, 3.5⭐️ in my book.
Laundry and cleaning with my headphones on and an audiobook, getting ready for Monday.
Not feeling great today but still had to be productive. I‘m super excited to finally be able to sit down and read.
So excited to be listening to this book. It sounds soooo good!
I‘m home from work for a few days so I‘m taking some time to read. Has anyone read this one before? I‘m struggling to figure out this main character.
Rainy day trip to B&N to add some books to my TBR pile 📚
I‘ve come to realize that I‘m jealous of those people who knock out stacks of books every week, month, or year. I wish I could be one of those people.
I look forward to my drives to and from work each day. They allow me some extra me time. This is the current read.
I feel like I have been working my way through this book with my oldest daughter for a while now. We‘ve finally finished and it was such a good read. We loved it.
Finally read volume 6! I think it‘s my favorite so far! So excited to meet the two new mysterious characters! I might have to run to B&N tomorrow for volume 7!
I think I have another favorite to add to my recommendation list! This book was such a lovely read and such a beautiful story. The various aspects of philosophy, music, sci-fi, and fantasy make this book so fantastic! 10 out of 10 recommend!
I really enjoyed listening to this book, but feel as though if I had tried to read it I would have gotten bored and bailed.
My husband and I just finished watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy. It was my first time seeing it... guess who has now ordered the books?
I am torn on how to rate this book. I keep going back and forth. While I don‘t know how I feel about him as a person, think the story of McCandless is incredibly interesting and he certainly did what made him happy. Krakauer‘s telling of McCandless‘s story seemed to be highly researched and keep me interested.
New Years morning hike followed up by snuggles on the couch reading Into the Wild 🪵🍂🪨
