5⭐️ How awesome is it for an author to use his own pets as inspiration for a book. What makes this story even better is that he used real pictures of his dog and mice, and layered over/under paint to fill out the graphic. To make his smiling dog look like he is eating a building, or tearing off a dino mouse's tale. Such a wonderful story that you could imagine your granddad telling you. #picturebookchallenge

Day 19: #unforgettable #decdays

This is one of my mother's favorite books and has earned a permanent place on her shelf. She loved reading this aloud to my brother. Now he can read this aloud to us! My brother is an adult with autism and is developmentally delayed. It's wonderful when we can read together. 📚💕

The ONE time I come home from work and don't put my glasses away because I'm tired and the stairs seem extra tall..... Somebody was in the doghouse in more ways than one last night! (Hint: it was the dog.)Our cat, Garbage, enjoyed being the good pet for a day. I look forward to seeing clearly defined shapes again in two weeks! ;)

First off, this book stars a cardigan Welsh corgi-the best kind of dog. Secondly, it's Dogzilla and this is the kind of literature we need to be giving out children. Do we really want a future generation running the world that HASN'T read Dogzilla!?....I miss my dog...
