Blood of Olympus (Heroes of Olympus #05) | 
so-soThis entire series was boring. I don't think I was ever going to love it because I'm a Latinist. Riordan's interpretation of Rome and Roman religion annoyed me.
Even ignoring that element, there were too many characters and POVs. It really slowed the book down and I honestly didn't care about many of the characters.
Also, not sure if it's my ace showing but damn did I not care about the teen romances.

Did I cry? Yes. Did I love it? Also yes! I finished this book yesterday, and it was AMAZING! Here‘s my fill out of wanderinglynn‘s Off My Shelf. I‘ll be using this for any book I read this year that matches one of these. The three books I have so far are The House of Hades and The Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan and Escaping Peril: The Graphic Novel by Tui T. Sutherland.

pickFinished up the series tonight. Everything wrapped up for the most part. Good series overall—lotta pages but good stories and likable characters. Guess there is another coming out next year too.

pick4✨That was another good ending. I don‘t know much of Greek/Roman mythology, but these books make it entertaining and easy to get a general idea. The set still have the wit and humor that the Percy series have. Time to start the next set. 🥰
On the last book of this series. I owe my knowledge of Greek and Roman mythology to these series and I‘m never bored reading them.
After this book I‘m definitely diving into the other series that are inspired by Egyptian and Norse mythology!

So I finished what I'm calling the Flower Girl. And I'm on chapter 35 of my book. Looking for the motivation to keep reading and work on another project. So here's to finishing The Office and finding some motivation.
Been stuck at home for little ober a week now. Just now finding momentum in my book. That's okay though. I was working on my above project. Its not done yet. But it is definitely getting there.

So I woke up yesterday really excited that it was library day. Told everyone at work who would listen that it was library day and I was excited. I had just finished The House of Hades the night before and was looking forward to getting the final installment to the series.... Library does not have it. Currently waiting to see if I can get it through a interlibrary loan. Slightly disappointed....
pickIt's half-term, it's sunny, and I'm feeling good! I finally got around to finishing Rick Riordan's Heroes of Olympus series. I liked it a lot... but I didn't love it as much as I loved the others. There was lots of action and good humour as ever, but I found that the story was split between a lot of characters, and a lot of the important emotional moments had already happened in earlier books. Still a good ending to a fab series.

pickI really enjoyed the last book in this series. It was great to see the character development come full circle. The resolution was both epic and satisfying. I was glad to listen to this #audiobook on my long car trip.

pickI can finally say I have finished 2 Riordan series and I've loved both. I was happy with the ending even if it took forever for me to get there. He's an excellent middle grade writer.

I loved this series. So much heart. And this was a great conclusion. The ending was just about as perfect as an ending gets. I listened to the whole series on audio and even though I don't like that the narrators changed half way through the series, both narrators did a good job.
Only 4 books left in my to be read pile (That I Own) before the end of the year!! Now all I have to do is figure out how to stop myself from going to buy all the #TBR that I don't own next year. 😬
