LiseWorks It's July already? Love the #ISpyBingos 1mo

julieclair I downloaded all 12 boards in January, and have been working on them all at the same time. I‘m wondering which one will be my first coverall! 1mo

TheAromaofBooks @julieclair - That's what I did last year, but then it was a little crazy at the beginning of the year checking off a jillion prompts, and then by the end of the year I was just looking for a handful of weird ones. So it's been kind of fun starting a new one each month. I still haven't cleared any of them, although I only have one prompt left in January. (Handcuffs?? What was I thinking?! 😂) 1mo

julieclair @TheAromaofBooks I must admit I loved checking off a jillion prompts at the beginning of the year! 😆 January is my best month so far, too, but even so, I still have 7 empty spaces. One of which is handcuffs (yep… what were you thinking🤣 I have visions of myself in December, having no time for holiday festivities because I‘m running around looking for a book with handcuffs on the cover! 😂😂😂 1mo

100% would have forgotten about posting this if @Liseworks hadn't reminded me 😂 As always, anyone can play along - items can be found on the front, back, or spine of the book. Unless a word is in quotation marks (in which case, you need that actual word), items can be a picture of the item or the word (i.e. stripes on the cover or the word stripes). You can use this board just this month, or keep going until you clear it. One book can clear ⬇

Faranae Hopefully next month will be a better reading month. My rule at the moment is new reads can count for any bingo board already “unlocked“, but past reads don't count for newly unlocked boards (so books I read in January only go on the January board, but February gets to fill January and February). 5mo

But the basics are that items can be found anywhere on the outside of the book (front, back, spine) unless specified otherwise. Any item can be either a picture of that item OR the word (so a candle or the word candle) unless the item is listed in quotation marks, which means you have to find those exact words.

TheAromaofBooks @willaful - Thank you!! I had wayyyy too much fun picking backgrounds, and Canva does a thing when you are picking your font color where it has several colors that are IN the background, so I got to have matching fonts, too 😂 8mo

So I've fallen a bit off the bandwagon with the #ISpyBingo challenge this year, but here is December's board - anyone is welcome to participate!!

I have refreshed this challenge for 2025 and will be posting 12 new boards!! I seem to have lost the tag list for this challenge, if I ever had one (lol) so please let me know if you'd like to be tagged with the 2025 boards coming as soon as I finish getting this challenge loaded onto Storygraph. ⬇

TheAromaofBooks @Clowjick came up with the idea for this challenge and I cohosted with her last year, but she's busy with real life these days and has told me I am free to take over the challenge so here we are 😂 I'm pretty stoked about the 2025 boards as I really enjoy this challenge.

At any rate, feel free to use this one for WinterGames or just for fun. Every book can mark off more than one item. These items need to be on the cover of the book, can be on ⬇ 8mo

PuddleJumper Yay another board! I'm doing the whole challenge as a year long thing rather than month by month. I wouldn't get any of the prompts that way. Got 184/300 so far 😅 8mo

TheAromaofBooks @PuddleJumper - I've been doing the same thing. But I think next year I'm going to start a new one every month, but give myself a whole year to clear it. So I start January on 1/1/25 and have to be done by 12/31/25, but February starts 2/1/25 and has to be done by 1/31/26. I cleared sooo many prompts in January/February/March last year and then the rest of year hasn't been as fun 😂 8mo

Sarahreadstoomuch I enjoy the #ISpyBingo too, but I‘m not great about posting my progress. As much as I meant to start a new board each month and go back to complete older ones, I totally forgot and will do a better job in 2025! I see your wrap-around approach, or really a year for each board… and I might do that too…. Depends on how my logs line up! lol 8mo

LiseWorks I love the#ISpyBoards but really can't finish them in a month, so I have been working on them. I have Jan to July all done. I can't wait for the Dec 8mo
