Does anyone else listen to the Teen Creeps podcast? They discuss teen horror classics by Christopher Pike, RL Stine, Caroline B Cooney, Lois Duncan, and more! I‘ve been reading one book each Saturday and it‘s been so fun! I CONSUMED these as an adolescent and am thankful I can find these beauties at ThriftBooks!!!

BeckyWithTheGoodBooks @5feet.of.fury Aren‘t they? The same artist, Brian Kotzky created covers for The Hardy Boys novels. I was a little too old for Goosebumps, but read a LOT of Stine‘s Fear Street books. 3y

I should have read it when I was a teen!
I really hate all the main characters and everything's just foregone!
I found out the killer from the first apparition and I'm not so good at!
Maybe a young reader would like it... to me unfortunately is disappointed! I've read 'monster' years ago and loved it, now I'm scared to re-read that Pike's book...

Remember Me was another fun TNG episode. Dr. Crusher didn't get the spotlight often, so it was nice watching her work out this clever mystery.

RamsFan1963 @Megabooks I wonder if she'll be in the new Picard series?? I haven't heard much other than Stewart is reprising the role. In the later ST books they got married and had a son, who they named after Picard's brother. 5y

Megabooks @RamsFan1963 I guess they had big advances in fertility?? I assumed Beverly was in her late 30s or older during the series, given Wesley‘s age. I really liked that episode, Family, after the Borg assimilation incident where Picard goes to the vineyard. Bonding over mud fights always gets a 👍🏻 from me. 5y

I was obsessed with these books as a kid- the teen horror genre in general, but very specifically this series. Reading it as an adult in 2018 of course reveals serious issues, but it is so quintessentially 1989 that I can understand how these mistakes were made.

Short recap- rich California teen Shari Cooper dies during a party, and as a ghost must solve the mystery of her death. I read this for the #Booked2018 Beach read category!

callielafleur @Lauram The nice thing is that they're pretty short, so they're easy to get through. I have the second and third in the trilogy on my shelf, but I think I'm going to wait for Halloween! 6y

DGRachel I think I bought a copy of this at the used book store just for the nostalgia factor. I haven‘t brought myself to read it yet as I‘m a little worried to ruin the memories. I LOVED Christopher Pike‘s books in middle school!! 6y
