pickThis book is excellent! This very simple F book is perfect for young readers and tells the story of a very dirty pigeon who refuses to take a bath. He eventually ends up loving the bath so much that he refuses to leave! This book would be great as a RA when teaching students about hygiene. #ucflae3414sp18
pickThis F book by Mo Willems is another in his Pigeon series and would be perfect for grades K-2 as a RA or IR for second graders. In this book, Pigeon is filthy and reluctant to take a bath, making up countless excuses for why he can‘t take one. He ends up taking and loving the bath, wanting to stay in forever. I would use this book to teach them how to debate, having them argue pros/cons on Pigeon‘s behalf. #ucflae3414sp18
