Wow.... just. WOW. This book was SO good. The best book I‘ve read this year, by far! It‘s an eye-opener and it really sends you through a whirl-wind of emotions. I‘d recommend this book to ANYONE. Because, you seriously need to read it... like, now!

Congrats! @Nessavamusic #20k1kGiveaway A book I really want, but don‘t own would be “Us Against You” A Nobel by Fredrik Backman!
This book is heart-breaking and infuriating, yet so, so eye-opening and I‘m only 31% deep. There‘s definitely going to be some good discussion on this one at book club.
If you‘re searching a feel-good book this isn‘t it. When you turn the last page, you‘ll have a heavy heart & more than likely, tears in your eyes. However, you will have a better understanding of WW2 in Italy, a better appreciation for our lives, & a more grateful heart. This heart-wrenching, eye-opening story about young Pino Lella will have you experiencing all the emotions. It‘s a historical fiction novel based off a true story. 10/10 ❤️
I finished this book in 3 days. This is a huge deal considering I hardly ever have time to read. (😩) It was good, easy to follow and left me itching to get to page after page. I even gasped once. However, I feel it lacked the suspense I was hoping for. It wasn‘t SUPER climatic. Still a good story and I loved how it kept me guessing and throwing curveballs at me!
I just finished this one. It‘s taken me a bit to read (mostly because I‘ve been so busy) and I‘m torn on how I feel about it. It‘s about a boy with Schizophrenia writing his story about the loss of his brother at such a young age and living with his “disease.” It got really raw and emotional at times. I just didn‘t find myself reaching for it every time I got a free moment. Good read, though.
Has anyone read this one yet?! If so, what‘d you think? I read it over the summer, but wanted to share it here, because there‘s a movie in the making!! I loved this book SO much. It was a fun, easy read that toyed with all my emotions as I tried to put together the puzzle that is Bernadette. I mostly laughed, though. If you‘re looking for something fun, I would recommend this one!
Probably my favorite book by Fredrick Backman. (If you haven‘t read any of his novels you need to change that ASAP) I would recommend reading “My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She‘s Sorry” by Backman first as Britt was a character in that one. This is about an older lady finally figuring out who she is with the help of a poor, helpless town that loves soccer as much as she loves baking soda. It will pull at your heart strings, guaranteed!
