bailedI wanted to read this because I genuinely enjoy the movie but it kind of sucks. I think it's the writing style. The themes aren't in the background like you would expect, it's actual dialogue which makes the characters seem SUPER judgemental about everything around them.
pickI couldn't finish this book but that genuinely wasn't the book's fault. This isn't my genre and I only tried it because I keep seeing it everywhere. However, if you enjoy very character driven lit with a finding yourself kind of plot, this will be a book you enjoy. From what I read, it was a very well paced and structured novel. I'm a little sad it wasn't for me. 😫

pickThe amount of adorable scenes in this book was almost too much. Almost. Being a veteran AP student myself, I connected with Ariel so much. I loved the characters, the romance, and the beautiful friendships and family love.
