Man, is this a throw back or what? Besides Harry Potter, Meg Cabot's The Princess Diaries was another book series that was very important in my life. It is so nice to return to the life of Mia Thermopolis. It is a little dated and Mia can be very naive, but that is exactly how teenagers act. But it was still a great read, it was really fun and just nostalgic for me. I think I'll enjoy this series. 4 out of 5

I recently just got into Dungeons and Dragons and Critical Role, so when i saw there was a graphic novel, I had to read it. Now, in all I honesty I've only watched Campaign 2: The Mighty Nein, so I'm not familiar with Campaign 1: Vox Machina. I kinda felt like I was smiling something while reading despite this being an introduction. Overall, this was fun and had the all the Chaotic Energy that is on par with Critical Role. 3 out of 5.

My firat Toni Morrison book and I enjoyed it. I can see why she is such a influential writer of her time. She writes beautifully, she has powerful and poignant narratives, and she just knows how to write a good story. I can't qait to explore more of Toni Morrison's weitings...I just wish I read her sooner.

This was a fine book, but something I wish I got to experience as a child, rather than as an adult. I wasn't really fond of any of the characters, except for Toodles. He was really the only character I liked. Also, the depictions of the First Nation people is, of course, problamatic, and hope people explain how wrong it is when reading to children. Other than that, it's okay. 3 out of 5 stars.

I'm sad to say that Jane Eyre was not a book for me. I thought the writing was beautiful and some of Brontë's feminist views were powerful (especially during the time), but story wise.....nope. also, the characters were frustrating. I understand that this is a very dramatic gothic tale, but I think it was too much. I enjoy (to an extent) the film and tv adaptations and will continue to watch them, but i don't see me rereading this book. 3 out of 5

This audiobook, narrated by Michael York, was wonderful. It's always nice to revisit a classic and cozy novel. I can't wait to move onto the next book in the series. Also. I highly recommend the audiobooks, they are such fun.

I thought the writingnin the book was well done, but the story a little lackluster for me. Being that it was a short story, I feel like not enough character development was able to be expanded. Other than that, it was interesting as well as the two other stories that came along with this audiobook. 3 out of 5.

The last time I read James and the Giant Peach was back in the first grade, so while listening to the audiobook, I was surprised how much I did not remember. It was almost like reading this for the first time! I enjoyed this audiobook very much. The narrator did a wonderful job bringingthis story to life. If you have little ones, I highly recommend giving this a read or listen. 4 out of 5.

I've always been fond of Elton John's music growing up as a kid, but never really knew who was was except for what was always on the tabloids. After watching his amazing biopic, Rocketman I thought I knew enough. Well, when I saw the audio book was available, I had to pick it up. It was just as good and really goes into detail of the biopic and even further in his life. I highly recommend given the audio book a listen too. 4 out of 5.

This was such an awesome fantasy book! Despite the book containing every single fantasy trope you can think of, Mr. Sullivan puts a little twist to them, which I found delightful. The character were so well written, I enjoyed every single one of them. This is fun fantasy that moves quickly, can't wait to read the rest of the series. 5 out of 5.

I listened to this as an audiobook, and I enjoyed it. It's a very powerful book and beautifully written. My only problem was that it seemed repetitive at times and I am just not a fan of more contemporary books, may it be non fiction or not. I so, however, think this is an insightful and raw book that a lot of people should read. 3.5 out of 5.

This was my first time encountering Rilke, and I must say, he is a stunning writer. I usually don't get on with poetry, but this prose of his was much more palpable for me. It is a book one must take there time with, don't rush. Though I admit I did rush the last 30 pages, but it was still a great read. 4 out of 5.

This was a very interesting read. It almost reads like a Jane Austen novel; in that the observances and commentaries of society and classes (in this case the Jewish community in Victorian London) were very similar to Jane Austen. Even though I recognize these similarities, Am Levy is a bit more cynical and blunt through her writing. I enjoyed the main characters and the story, overall. 4 out of 5 stars.

I love Anne Brontë and wish she had the opportunity to write more. 'Agnes Grey' is completely different from Wildfell Hall. Rather than being gothic and melodramatic; this one reads more like a Jane Austen novel. As always, I enjoy Anne's capture of reality in her novels. They speak so many truths that are relevant today. Great novel, easy to read. Not as good as Wildfell, but still wonderful. 4 out of 5.
