I haven‘t read a book that has sucked me in like this one in a while. I‘m a little over halfway through the book and I‘m pretty sure I‘ll sit right here and finish it today then watch the movie. If you have read the book and watched the movie tell me is the movie as good as the book? Please say it is! #readingday #suckedin #bookfirstmoviesecond

This was a very informative book. If you or someone you love has a mood disorder this is a great book to read for more understanding of the disorder.

I'm having a hard time believing I'm bailing on this one but I just can't get into it right now. I loved Mr. Mercedes and was so excited to read this one. Maybe I'm just not in the mood for this type of book right now. I'll pick it up again at a later date.

As much as I love the look, feel, smell of a physical book I have come to prefer ebooks...easier on my old eyes. I love how convenient it is to borrow ebooks from overdrive...no late fees... and I am always finding free or cheap ebooks. Lets not forget about space saved! Thanks for this awesome #6666giveaway @Booksandcooks and congrats on all those followers 👏🏼👊🏼💥

I really liked this book. At first I thought it would be confusing with so many different characters but I was able to keep everyone straight after a bit. I also really liked the short chapters. To me that makes the reading easier. I can pick it up for a quick read without having to stop in an inconvenient place. The storyline was interesting and kept me guessing till the the end.

Mehso-so

This book was a bit too much for me which surprises me because I tend to like the creepy and disturbing stuff. My husband always tells me something is wrong with me because of this but I don't know this was way beyond my comfort level. I almost didn't finish the last quarter of the book. Once I got past those graphic parts I was okay but read slow for fear more was coming. So this just got a so-so from me. I didn't hate it but DID NOT love it.

The best Mother's Day ever! I'm loving my paperwhite! This book though 😳I'm almost finished with it but it's taking me a long time to get through the end. It's so very disturbing. I thought I could handle it but omg! I'm gonna finish it this weekend though so I can start on something less intense.

My 9 year old daughter who hates to read asked if I would take her to the library so she could pick out a book. I did one better and we went to Half Price Books and I bought her a couple books. I couldn't resist picking up these two for myself. I was super excited to find Little Women & Good Wives. It is teacher appreciation weeks so I got a cute tote bag for free.

As much as I love this series it is really starting to be very predictable. Okay it has been very predictable for a while now. I would like to see something different with the next book. It's still a pick for me though because it is a quick, easy, mindless read and sometimes you need just that.

I did not care for this book at all. I tried. I really tried! I even kept going when I wanted to bail. The ending justified my feelings for this book. However that being said I'm glad I finished it since it is such a hot topic now with the series out. I'm actually liking the series a lot better than I liked the book.

MyBelovedLittleBooks I had to read this for grad school and I really struggled that week getting it read. I keep saying maybe I will like it more now that I am older. I may give it a shot before I start the series. 7y

This book pulled me in from the start and wouldn't let go. 24 hrs later I finished the book. I do feel like it could have wrapped up a little better. I'm not fond of books that leave you wanting more. My brain goes crazy without a proper closing of a story. I also didn't really like the back and forth narration but overall it's a pick for me.

I started this book last night. I have several started right now so my goal was to read at least 2 chapters in each book each day. 124 pages later...I am out of my reading slump and will probably finish this book today! I can't even think about reading another book till this one is finished.

I've been working on this book for 3 weeks now. I'm at the halfway point and wondering will it get any better? It is interesting in a weird sort of way but something about the way it is written is throwing me off. Too much switching from one thought to the next and confuses me. Please tell me I am not the only one who is not loving this book. I'm bored with it 😕

Rachbb3 I'm sure you're not the only one. I liked the book, but I like seeing different points of view and perspectives. 7y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa I'd say keep going....usually this is where I'd say bail, but with this book at about 1/2 is where her past and how the world got this way starts revealing itself more. And instead of just this odd futuristic society, you see how we got from where we are now to there very quickly...that's usually where it gets more foreboding for me and I also breeze through the last 1/3 very quickly. (edited) 7y
Books-and-coffee @Riveted_Reader_Melissa okay I will give it longer. My son had to read it in high school. He said it gets better also. I'm wanting to finish it before the series starts. I'm thinking the series will be easier to follow. 7y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @Books-and-coffee That's true, and it looks like it's going to be a good series. I wish I had read this in HS, I didn't read it until yrs later, and then by myself with no one to discuss it with. I know it feels disjointed at the beginning, you feel a bit lost and don't know where it's going, but so does the character. She slowly weaves in more and more about how we got to this point, and it's a bit past halfway where our present seems to... 7y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa ...collides with this future, and you realize how we could have gotten to this point. Hopefully as that happens and the past and current stories merge it will make even more sense to you. I'm glad your son liked it though, it's a tough story and some deep thinking for a teenage boy especially to wrap his head around. 7y
