@Addison_Reads thanks for the tag. These are the books I‘ve read in the last year that I‘ve wanted to talk, cry, gush, argue, and smile about with other people in the past year so these would be my bookclub picks. #myidealbookclub

Addison_Reads @Reggie Great choices! I've only read Sula, but all the others are on my TBR. I love that you picked ones you've read that left such emotional impressions. 3mo
Cinfhen Absolutely took a #screenshot 🥰 3mo

Reagan Looker was really interesting, a very uncomfortable read. 2mo
Reggie @Reagan-reads I have never read such a tense scene where someone just puts their dish down at a neighborhood bbq. 2mo

A pile of #History books in Mount's book. Although I read several nonfiction books a year & am fascinated by it, history is one of my least read genres. A few of these are on my TBR.
@arlenefinnigan @Cinfhen

alisonrose King Leopold‘s Ghost is really good! 4mo
Melissa_J I have a couple of those on my TBR pile, too. 4mo
Cinfhen #Screenshot 🙌🏻🧡 4mo
arlenefinnigan Cod sounds intriguing! 4mo
saresmoore Hmm, I look at these and just...don‘t care. 😬😴 History is fascinating, but I think I tend to go for the sociology- or science-forward accounts and it‘s hard to know what you‘re getting, at first. 4mo

I LOVE Spotify, so I‘m really loving this little trend of publishers making playlists to accompany books to create an extra bit of buzz.....
These are four I‘ve come across and enjoyed, and I‘ve attached a great article from ‘Bustle‘ that pairs Spotify playlists with books! 🎶💕🎵💕

squirrelbrain Sounds great - I shall investigate further... 🎶😁❤️ 5mo
4thhouseontheleft I like this too! I have been listening to the playlist to go along with 5mo
Cinfhen Thanks for sharing!!!! Super excited to check out the playlists & article #screenshot 🥰🥰🥰 5mo

The Girl in the Ice | Robert Bryndza
post image

When the body of a woman was discovered beneath a thick sheet of ice in a South London park, she appeared to be a beautiful young socialite with a #perfectlife . Investigations led by Detective Erika Foster revealed a connection between the victim and the killings of three prostitutes, all found strangled, hands bound and dumped in water.
Sounds like a good crime thriller with good reviews on GR. Stacked! 😊

Cinfhen This does sound good ( type of book my daughter likes) so #screenshot 😀 2y
JHSiess Loved it. 2y
eanderson Oh I loved this book! Still need to read the rest of the series. I think you‘ll love it! 2y

Kalalalatja @Cinfhen you won't regret it (I hope! 🤞) it is pretty awesome 👏👏 2y
Kalalalatja @emilyhaldi I know that feeling all too well. Seeing it all over Litsy these days has put me in the mood for a reread, so I need to see if I can sneak it in somewhere 😄 2y
emilyhaldi @AlaMich After reading it I was shocked that I hadn‘t heard more about it on Litsy or elsewhere... it deserves way more attention! Definitely give it a try 👍🏻👍🏻 2y
2BR02B These posts are setting my TBR on fire. Thanks, but also, how could you? 😬 2y
