Day 21 & Day 22 #JuneBookBugs #multiethnic #teeth My library hold came in & I decided it was a good book for #teeth since the hungries definitely use their teeth. 😱 The Loved Ones caught my eye on the new book shelf & I realized I didn't post for yesterday's #multiethnic prompt & it's centered around African-American, bi-racial, & Korean characters, so it seems to fit the prompt pretty well. Looking forward to both of these books. #multitasking

Hooked_on_books Is the Boy on the Bridge peeing? 😂 7y
DebinHawaii @Hooked_on_books Well, I can see his hands by his sides so I'm guessing & hoping he isn't but you never know!! 😂😂😂 7y

This was a fun historical YA series starring a biracial heroine--half Chinese, half white--set during Victorian London. Spirited and headstrong Mary Quinn joins a secret ladies detective agency and solves crimes while exploring her mysterious family history. #multiethnic #junebookbugs

RealLifeReading Oh thanks for the reminder. I've only read the first three books. Is the fourth one the last in the series? 7y
Brie @RealLifeReading Yeah, the fourth is the last. 7y

Pickpick

I was never great at science in school, but I find it fascinating to read about. I went into this book for the history of the HeLa cells, but it was so much more- family, race, history, friendship, abuse... and the list goes on. This is now one of my favorite nonfiction reads.
And the audio was fantastic.
