Going against the grain here and giving this a pick. A soft pick but a pick nonetheless. This is a Peter Pan retelling and it‘s spicy and a RH read. So if that‘s not your cuppa avoid. This one does end in a cliffhanger. #peterpanretelling #mayread
I have to tell you at the beginning of the book I didn‘t think I was going to be able to handle Nora. But I stuck with it and once again this author delivers a solid read with depth but not so much you‘re drowning. Perfect summer/beach read. #romantsy #travelthroughbooks #travelUSA #northcarolina #mayread
If I had one complaint about this one is how the ending seemed harsh in how abrupt it seemed. This is #reesewitherspoon book club pick and I loved it. There was something so romantic and heartbreaking about how the first Oxford Dictionary came to be and How Esme found her place. Have Kleenex handy and settle in. #bookclubread #mayread
Ugh I‘m so conflicted about the rating for this book. I‘m going to give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️ because there was just something that kept me from fully connecting. Perhaps it was Holly the granddaughter of Wendy. She was rather difficult to like. It was though a unique take on the Peter Pan story. #peterpanretelling #mayread #springread
My first #mayread I loved it! It was fast-paced and intriguing! It feels as if you are reading the story of a true rock band. The imagery is phenomenal. I love that all of the characters have realistic flaws. The book shows the struggles of finding oneself, dealing with addiction, and connecting with others so realistically. One of my new #favoritebooks!
