Certainly my least favorite of the series, but a solid conclusion. There is a huge time jump, but then probably more than half the book is in flashback. And, while the rest of the series can be treated as a prequel to the movie, this came out several years after the movie and kinda ignores the film. It was a weird pivot after the author had stated that he wanted the books and the movie to share the same world, just in different eras.

1. I have a hard time deciding, so probably a Chimera: In Greek mythology, the Chimera was a fire-breathing mythical creature, usually depicted as a lion merged with a goat and a snake, which was related to monsters such as Cerberus. However, the term chimera is now often used to describe any creature that is a hybrid of multiple animals

2. The tagged series has a fun mix of fantastical creatures

Onto book 5. This series has soooo many twists it is head spinning to keep up. Loving it though, after this one will have to wait for book 6. The story was a little chaotic, with so many unsolved mysteries for Inspector Frost to investigate, but I enjoyed the story all the same. Frost is a great character, in both the novels and the TV adaptation.

I finished the #20in4 readathon with a total of only 10 hours and 15 minutes. I thought I'd get more reading done on vacation but ended up spending a lot of time with family!
