Yesterday I took myself to lunch & for dessert I tried a cute ice cream place next door to the cafe that opened this summer. I had scoops of Dutch Apple Pie & Banana Pudding & sat & read my book.🍦😋 Their pink neon sign inspired this haiku.

Neon Promise

Sweet, cold, creamy bites
Fixer of all maladies
Cure for weary souls 🍨

I love to bake and used to have a little baking business on the side, but for some reason I have always been intimidated by the thought of making macarons. So just using this as a little extra motivation to get off my butt and just do it. 🧑‍🍳

I think desserts in jars was a bit of a “thing” for a while. 😆

I tried a new thing today and made macarons… I need to adjust some my techniques but they sure are tasty!

Look at Barnes & Noble with the sassy social media! 🤣 Also, can totally relate to getting to the good part way too late in the evening.

I especially like fruit pies and crisps, and fudge which I can't make anymore because no one else in house eats it and I would have to eat whole pan.
