This book also introduced me to the concept of the baby Buddha, and it‘s just beyond adorable. It‘s an internet rabbit hole of adorableness!

1. As a very anxious person, I use several different practices for inner peace. Going for walks, meditating, journaling, and drawing are my go-to methods. I do these things regularly and that helps, but I‘ll do them more when I‘m anxious or feeling down.
2. The tagged book and “Upstream” by Mary Oliver (as well as any of her poetry) are my top reads to help with inner peace.

I had heard references to this book so many times, wanted to see what it was about. Thought it would be better after hearing it was some people‘s favorite book. It was just okay to me. Kind of boring, but noble Siddhartha learns his own lessons too late in life, and I can see the morals in it.
And, yeah, that's a big ol' #HailTheBail
I thought maybe 20 years after my first attempt to read this that I could actually do it. Nah-uh. Could bearly keep my eyes open for 15 pages 🥱
Thankfully, it's finally off my TBR shelf!
