Speaking of hero worship - I‘m reading this because Lauren Groff named it as one of her favorite books - so of course, I‘m going to read it! ❤️

Annl I have to read this because 2 granddaughters! Is your black kitty more hyper than your other cats. I rescued a black kitty recently and she is bonkers! 5y

LauraBeth @Annl 😹 let me know what you think of it! He‘s a tad more bonkers than my other cats but he‘s a baby - so I‘m going to attribute it to him being a kitten and my other cats being older. He‘s very snuggly and cuddly in his “downtime” from climbing the fireplace, tearing the curtains down and aggravating Bitsy. 😹 5y

LauraBeth @leahbergen Yes! Same old story - went to the shelter “just to look“ and saw how full they were and felt bad so took home a kitten! 😻 He's the sweetest. 5y

hlgreenfield I love black cats as well. I have had many growing up ( that I still miss dearly) and at the moment I have two and the baby of the two is actually also called Minerva!! And she is the best cat! Really faithful! 6y

TK-421 @hgrimes It's so difficult to lose a pet who's been part of the family for so long! @Nerdfins @hgrimes Special cats are just extra loveable, aren't they? Our old kitty had a cerebellar injury that made her shaky and our new furbaby has only 3 feet. So glad to give her a loving home 😊 6y
