lil1inblue @TheBookHippie We were “disowned“ by my toxic MIL after our wedding. Aside from the times she would un-disown us to verbally abuse my husband and then re-disown us, it was bliss. MisterInBlue managed to work things out with her in the last several years so he could see his Dad and other family, but it's so exhausting. I'm so glad we're home this year! 4d

We do not care that we woke up this morning, walked into the den, and promptly stepped into not one, but two separate piles of dog vomit in our bare feet. We (I guess) consider it lucky that we missed stepping into the THIRD pile. It's been quite a morning already.

We do not care that we like NOT having any plans but then find ourselves in a week where we have all kinds of places we have to go: PT, dentist, doctor, wedding shower ... we also do not care that it takes a lot out of us to be so damn social during said events. We can't wait until the days are open-ended again.

We do not care that I pulled into my parking spot at work, then promptly locked my car from the driver‘s inside door-BIG OOPS -with my backpack,phone, & keys inside! Fortunately,a staff member was free to drive me home in hopes of convincing my husband that he could TRUST me with his car car key, even though I dropped his in the driveway a month ago & then ran right over it! 2 hours & $250 later I replaced it.He did give me his key. 🚗🔑
