Just finished the S1-S4 rewatch of Stranger Things and starting Book 2 of the novel: Darkness on the Edge of Town🎧📖

Remembered this song by Jim Croce played on S2E3 when Hopper took in 11 when they cleaned the cabin in the woods. This is where Book 2 starts.

What fun to revisit another childhood TV hero: Bob Keeshan aka Captain Kangaroo! This pictorial celebrates 50 years of this groundbreaking show (1955-84) The Captain taught us kids about kindness, diversity & respect. He hosted “Reading Stories” so we could fall in love with books. He & sidekick Mr. Green Jeans even taught us to appreciate nature, animals and our environment. That‘s before being replaced by cartoons/marketing tools to sell toys.🙄

All Her Fault | Andrea Mara

Stumbled upon All Her Fault in hbomax last night and the first episode got me hooked. The scene on the pic opens w/ a mom picking up her son from a playdate only to find out he's son was not there. Already 5/8 episodes in and want to find out who are involved with the kid's disappearance.

I am also already 3 chapters in on the book too.

Lesliereadsalot I saw Johnny Carson‘s show live in New York a million years ago. The guests were a new star, Steve Martin, who did his Egyptian routine, and Yvette Mimieux. My mom and I thought Steve Martin would never go anywhere! 3mo

TheAromaofBooks Thank you!! It's been tough but we are getting through (as one has to do). We lived across the street from him the whole time we lived in Rushville (11 years) so we were pretty close. We've been hearing so many great stories about him. Most of them are pretty much like “I was having a problem. He showed up, swore at me, smacked me in the back of the head, and then fixed my problem.“ 😂 2mo
