I am really enjoying this fantasy series - it‘s clever, intricately plotted, wryly humorous in places, and full of memorable characters. Each chapter zooms in on a tiny part of the story but slowly the larger picture is emerging and gosh, it‘s good!

I have a lot of catching up to do. Yay holidays! Here is my mostly complete list of series I started for #SeriesLove2023 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView (I have another page 😬).
I had a tie for the month of February, the tagged novel and How High We Go In The Dark. I chose The Seven Spears because it was fun and I'd read it again.
Day 2 of #12BooksOf2022 #February @Andrew65
A collection of 3 interesting short stories, one of which is being followed up with a series of novels, which I will look out for.
Surprisingly cute stories to add to the end of what was mostly a very disturbing "romance"
I have tomorrow and Friday off for Veteran's Day so I'm doing a #24in48 readathon on my own cause I miss them. 😞 I'm starting with the tagged book to finish the series (not my fave by the author, btw) and picking the rest of my options tonight.
Happy #ManicMonday !

#October #20in4 #Readathon Check-In: 6 hours.
A BIT short of 20 hours, right? 😁
Well, for me, the #20in4 #readathons are a nudge to me to make more time for reading as on any usual workday - on a 'normal' day? 30 mins daily, if I'm lucky... 🙄
So, 6 hours aren't THAT bad, if you think about it... 😉

Those pronouns and their rapid changes give me whiplash. And the two women are about to go to a party and need to tread that pronoun-minefield extra carefully.
Earlier in the book: 'sie' and 'hie' and 'hes'
"Pronouns are 'e' and 'em' and 'eir,'.... 'Tha,' 'thon,' 'thos'..."
Later on " 'hoi,' 'hom,' and 'hos' " are added.
