Here it is my review of Murder on the Orient Express.
I really loved it. It wasn‘t what l expected. Not a lot of action, the story is mostly in the dialogue, but it's awesome. The same characters that hide their secrets slowly reveal them. I love the psychology, the game of wills and skills.

Really a unique novel.

I finished some great books this month and definitely enjoyed my Halloween themed reads. My two new favorites were Word by Word about the process of writing and revising dictionaries and my first Agatha Christie novel, Murder on the Orient Express. The Return of the King was a reread for #LotRChapteraDay and is also a lifelong favorite.

Daisey @Marmie7 It was definitely an easier, faster read than a expected when I started. I can't believe we're almost done with the first year either! So glad we decided to do it again; I've definitely read an interesting variety of books I would not have picked up on my own. 6y

Finished this tonight! Loved the pacing, the slow build up to the actual murder-really was surprised by the ending. Really truly. Haven‘t seen any movie versions & purposefully looked nothing up!

This is the first book by Agatha Christie that I've read or listened to, and it will definitely not be the last. I loved all of the descriptive details, the variety of characters, and the methodical process of analyzing the case! The narrator for this audiobook was wonderful, but I think next time I will read in print just so I can make notes or highlights as I read.

ReadingSusan @Daisey I remember the first one I read. I think I was around 15 years old. It was the Seven Dials Mystery. And I was like whoa I love these. I consumed all her books the next couple of years. I need to start a reread. 6y
