Every day should be a reading in a hammock day! @DeweysReadathon #readathon #deweysreadathon
I‘m late making my #DeweysReadathon post (it started 9 hours ago), but I thought I‘d post my stack of next-up reads while taking a little break. I also have The Wedding People and Martyr! on Kindle. The tagged book is Banned in my state (along with 16 others!) so that one is a priority. 😠

Almost 1/3 thru the readathon, and I'm making good progress on my book pile and am almost done with the tagged audiobook, that I've been listening to while I walked and did some house cleaning. @DeweysReadathon #readathon #deweysreadathon
I need a break from work desperately 😫! Very excited to just spend the day reconnecting with my books! 📚 @DeweysReadathon #deweysreadathon #readathon
Last weekend was the #deweys24hourreadathon. My plan was to focus on these two books. It was a gorgeous day, and I had a good start, but my son was going through something and needed his Mama to listen. I‘m so grateful that he wanted to talk and that I could help him get some feelings out. I only got 10 hours of reading in, instead of my normal 12-14, so I didn‘t quite finish either book. Being there for my kid was worth it. ❤️📚 #deweysreadathon
I guess, with this update now, I have a bingo?
Finished one book, started four new ones. Only one of the four I started was on my tentative #TBR. ??
Also, what exactly counts as a spooky treat? My European mind can't think of something other than "must mean disgusting".

Finished Sipsworth on a #readathon date with my husband while he was finishing up A Man Called Ove! A perfect pairing. ❤️ I wanted a book that would make me feel like I did when I read A Man Called Ove years ago, and this did that. A touching story where we get to know and love the characters and relish connection and hope. #deweysreadathon
This was a fun and fascinating middle grade narrative nonfiction. It describes the theft and investigation of that theft of the Mona Lisa from the Louvre in alternating chapters with information about the life and work of Leonardo da Vinci. I may need to check it out in print at some point as well to see the illustrations.

This was a cute YA romance about a teenage blogger and a boy who spends his time outside of school helping in his family‘s traditional tea shop. Online, they‘re enemies, but you can guess how it goes when they unknowingly meet in real life to work together for small businesses in Chinatown threatened by a corporate buyout.
