TheSpineView I enjoyed this one but not as much as the first two. I don't know if it was me, but the plot was somewhat predictable. Also the idea of a superhuman subspecies evolving just didn't work for me. Because if felt more of an afterthought than a proper part of the plot. Despite these minor things I still thought it was a good addition to the series. 13mo

julesG @TheSpineView I only skimmed it. My brain is wired to Discworld and nearly any other Pratchett just doesn't work for me. 13mo

This is the third book in The Long Earth series. Enjoyed this one. Plot was solid and along with good characters it made for an enjoyable read. 3.5⭐️ I read this for #OokBookClub @julesG #TerryPratchett

The first book I thought was interesting, but the quality already dropped with the second one. But since it's Terry Pratchett I refused to give up so easily. But with reading the third part, I started zo ask myself if I really wanted to read two and a half more books where nothing interesting happenes to characters that are not interesting. The answer is NO.

Finished it but won't move on to vol four. The concepts were interesting for the first two books on the series, but it gets cut and paste here. I found the Britishisms annoying since much of the series takes place in Wisconsin. "The tenements of Madison" and such.
